About & Contact
Hi, I’m Christina. I am eighteen, attend college in Massachusetts, and spend my winter and summer vacations with my parents in Montana. I like purple, photography, pink, peas, and Pride & Prejudice. In addition, for things that don’t start with a ‘P’, I like books, Caesar salad, Italian food, green, rescued dogs, Coca-Cola, ballet flats, rain, history, urban affairs, journalism, FanFiction, and television. I dislike summer — you can always put more clothes on but you can’t take more off — and most breakfast foods — French toast, Swedish pancakes, and cereal. Yuck.
Jackets & Covers is, obviously, my book blog. The place where I talk about my love of books incessantly, where I write book reviews, where I make lists of books, and where I comment on all things “bookish.” The title is a take off of how hardback books come with “jackets” and paperback books have “covers.”
So,”Jackets & Covers.”
Should you need to get a hold to me because you have a burning question , I spend about 65 percent of my time in front a computer, so don’t be shy. Drop me a line and I’ll get back to you as long as you don’t look like spam, of course.

Before you send that email, though, if you’d like to offer me a book I can already tell you what my answer is — no, but thanks for offering. Unfortunately, I have too much on my plate right now to consider taking on reading books on a (typically self-imposed) timetable. I appreciate you considering Jackets & Covers, but review copies just aren’t a possibility right now.
Hi, I think we must have a lot in common
I’m also 17 (although I’m turning 18 this year, so I just pass myself off as 18 a lot of the time) and I like photography, Caesar salad, rain, history and ballet flats. I have to say I like summer though. It’s one of my favourite seasons.
Hi I’m 13, I’m zawan. What makes you so interested in reading? It is very rare to find such a read as you.
@ zawan: Thanks, Zawan. What makes me so interested in reading? Well, I love hearing people’s stories, I love learning about people and other places, and I love how books take you to another place with just the turning of a page. As Gustave Flaubert said in Madame Bovary, “I’m playing a role in the story I’m reading. I actually feel I’m the characters – I live and breath with them.”
Christina, did you get my email? Please get in touch and let me know your mailing address, otherwise I won’t be able to send your book and bookmark to you! I want to get this out this week — I’ll be too busy next week.
wow! I whant to complete the same mission one day. im curently on my 3rd sequel.Your website has helped me find more titles to read, so thanks. You are so amazing to be reading all the books.Keep reading!
Hey, I came across this blog and I noticed that you seem to be as much a fan of reading as I am. The thing that really caught my interest is that you are reading all of the sequels to Pride & Predjudice, that is a challenge I started to take on a few months back. Most people think I’m kind of crazy to do it, but Pride & Predjudice is one of my favorite books of all time. I also suggest reading Mr. & Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy. I thought that that was one of the best sequels I have read.
As far as other books, I have not noticed whether or not you mentioned it in here, but Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower is an amazing book, at least in my opinion and I might suggest you read that as well.
